Who You Are
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our growing People & Culture team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to the Concept Development & Research and Technology teams, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational success. You will also play a key role in shaping and delivering learning & development (L&D) programs that support development needs across Sila.
Responsibilities and Duties
Strategic Partnership:
- Build strong relationships with leaders and employees within the Concept Development & Research and Technology teams.
- Provide expert HR guidance and coaching on all people-related matters.
- Translate business strategies into effective HR initiatives.
- Analyze HR data and trends to proactively address challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
Talent Management:
- Develop and execute effective recruiting and retention strategies.
- Lead workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
- Drive performance management, including performance reviews, talent calibrations, and promotion processes.
- Oversee compensation planning and ensure alignment of total rewards with performance.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues, minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance.
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies that address employee needs.
Learning & Development:
- Serve as the L&D subject matter expert within the People & Culture team.
- Identify, source, and/or deliver training programs that support individual and team development.
Culture & Engagement:
- Serve as a champion of Sila's culture and values.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, productivity, and overall employee satisfaction.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience.
- PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including: Compensation and job leveling, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, change management, diversity & inclusion, federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Strong data analytics and visualization skills.
- Experience building and presenting executive-level presentations.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Proficient with HR software and business applications, including Google Suite, ADP WorkforceNow, Greenhouse, Lattice, and Radford/Aon.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location
The starting base pay for this role is between $200,000 and $225,000 at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila's competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses.
