Work Arrangement:** This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum. **The Role:** As an HR Specialist/Lead for U.S. Retirement Plans in Global Total Rewards & Employee Relations you will be responsible for developing strategies, analyzing data, and assessing the effectiveness of our GM Savings Plans. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our retirement plans align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. **What You'll Do:** + Analyze Plan data and recommend strategic initiatives for financial wellness and retirement readiness. + Mentor, train and lead a team of analysts in presenting data in a clear and concise manner. + Conduct strategic Plan benchmarking including AonHewitt Benefit Index, TAPF, and defined contribution (DC) studies. + Lead the relationship with third party administrators on benefit design, implementation, communication and on time delivery. + Ensure defined metrics are succeeding as identified. + Support the development of Plan language and recommend updates to existing Plan provisions. + Analyze proposed and current legislative and regulatory changes (PBGC, DOL, ERISA) and recommend Plan strategies accordingly. + Evaluate marketplace best practices and recommend new technology and/or tools to facilitate employee engagement in personal financial management. + Evaluate and make recommendations for global financial wellbeing solutions as well as support the development of automation to improve efficiencies. + Review updates to Summary Plan Description(s) and modify based on Plan language modifications + Support internal and external Savings Plan audits. + Contribute to the development of training and communications materials. + Evaluate marketplace best practices and recommend new technology and/or tools to facilitate employee engagement in personal financial processes. **Additional Job Description** **Your Required Skills & Abilities:** + Bachelor's degree in human resources, finance, business or similar field + 4+ years' experience in U.S. retirement plans, **specifically defined contribution plans** + Must have at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently + Excellent communication and presentation skills (written & verbal) + Strong organizational and project planning skills + Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently in an accurate manner + Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint + Strong analytical skills including advanced proficiency with Excel **What Will Give You A Competitive Edge:** + Expertise in Power BI \#LI-LS1 *This job may be eligible for relocation benefits. **Compensation** : _Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate.
