Residential Maintenance Onboarding Specialist ( with Floater Duties )

Are you a hands-on maintenance expert with a passion for helping others grow? Join our team as an Residential Maintenance Onboarding Specialist and play a key role in shaping the success of our new hires across multiple multifamily properties.
 

In this unique position, you’ll use your technical knowledge to train and onboard maintenance techs, while also serving as a floater to support urgent maintenance needs across communities. What You’ll Do
 

• Train new maintenance technicians on safety, tools, processes, and property standards
   
• Support various properties as a floater tech, stepping in where help is needed
   
• Perform hands-on maintenance including:
    HVAC systems (basic troubleshooting and PM)
    Plumbing repairs (toilets, sinks, lines)
    Electrical (outlets, lighting, breakers)
    Appliance repair and installation
    General building upkeep (drywall, painting, minor carpentry)
    Pool maintenance and seasonal prep
   
• Coordinate with property managers and supervisors to align onboarding plans with property needs
   
• Track new hire progress and provide ongoing feedback and support
   

What We’re Looking For
 

• 3+ years of experience in building maintenance or facilities
   
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building upkeep
   
• Experience training, mentoring, or onboarding new team members is a plus
   
• Willingness to travel between properties as needed (mileage reimbursed)
   
• Organized, approachable, and skilled at communicating clearly with teams
   
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, not required
   
• Must pass a background check
