Purpose of Position

The Director of HR leads HR business service supporting corporate and international partners on behalf of the company. This position is responsible for the leadership of Human Resources function for corporate functions and international locations. The Director HR must confidently lead and advise, partnering closely with the corporate and international leadership teams, ensuring that a consistent approach is delivered aligned with local country compliance.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.-Manage and lead a team of HR professionals.-HR employment compliance with North America, Europe, Canada, UK, Asia.-Manage HR functions including all HR business support, recruitment and selection, partner with legal on work permits and immigration, promotions, disciplinary and grievance matters, employee orientation, health and safety, performance and talent management, appraisals, salary adjustments, compensation and benefit provision.-Develop policy and documentation including regular review for compliance.-Deliver Training on company procedures and policies.-Partner with Managers to ensure that the HR function is meeting strategic objectives and supporting the company business development commitments. -Develop and coach senior management employees and HR team on their responsibilities and duties to support creating an enjoyable, professional working environment that meets with company culture and vision.-Influence and drive People and Culture initiatives. -Responsible for periodic HR reporting.-Ensure consistency in approach of the HR function.-Global immigration responsibilities for home and host locations.-Lead and coordinate on Projects.-Lead and promote a culture for Change Management.

Minimum Education

University Degree, or similar level of education, preferred. CIPD/SHRM accreditation or similar HR professional qualification.

Minimum Experience

Seven to ten (7-10) years' experience in progressive HR management positions, with direct reports

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience working with business leaders/executives in decision making-Thorough knowledge of International HR standards and principals -Managing teams in multi sites Internationally-Demonstrated Leadership and Management Experience in a professional, dynamic environment-Collaborative, team-oriented leader-Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks and projects -Continuous improvement
