POSITION SUMMARY This position reports directly to the Director of Field HR and serves as a strategic partner and consultant to Operations leaders regarding employment laws, compliance, performance, and talent management and engagement. They are responsible for leading and developing the East Region HR team and driving HR initiatives across the region. They will act as a change agent to drive the various HR programs forward. They will collaborate with leaders to guide HR processes, provide coaching and guidance, and foster a high-performance culture. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the East Region HR team, focusing on team development, and ensuring that the team follows best practices and company policies. Partner with the HR Director to drive the execution of various HR initiatives and projects. Collaborate with Operational leadership to drive organizational success Partner with leaders on workforce planning to develop employees, manage talent, meet succession planning needs, and ensure effective selection and retention of employees consistent with company policies and legal requirements Ensure that company investigations and other employee relations issues are conducted fairly and consistently. Counsel employees and leaders to resolve issues such as policy and procedure interpretation, performance expectations, absenteeism, discipline, and workplace harassment Advise leaders and function to ensure employees receive timely and clear communications about business performance, key initiatives, and changes in the organization Work with leaders and employees to educate on the philosophy and tactics of various programs and to communicate and implement compensation, benefits, talent development, succession, performance management, and other employee programs Possess the ability to drive change and coach leadership utilizing strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, strong communication, and a focus on empowerment and development. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree preferably in a Human Resources field. 10+ years of experience in a Human Resources manager-level position, developing and leading a team of HR professionals Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred Prior 3PL, logistics, or supply chain management experience preferred Capabilities Knowledge of employment laws and regulations and legal compliance Knowledge of HR systems and technology Strong employee relations experience, handling complex issues Strong influencing, coaching, and mentoring skills Ability to drive change management strategies Proven managerial experience - managing a team of people.
