OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for a Payroll/HRIS Analyst to join our team in Columbus, OH!

The Payroll/HRIS Analyst is a key member of the HR Team. This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Compiling & analyzing HR/Payroll data, reporting metrics for departmental and leadership use; as well as assisting in various HR projects. The person in this role must have a customer service focus, maintain standardization of processes, accuracy, and a continuous process improvement mindset.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing (regular, off-cycle, annual) in accordance with all applicable laws. Calculate, audit and reconcile all payroll entries.
  • Research & analyze complex payroll issues.
  • Provide oversight for timecards, time-off and JIRA ticketing system.
  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources. Specifically, the HR System (HRIS), payroll, financial reports, benefit reports, etc.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to headcount, turnover, compensation, training, benefits, etc.
  • Creates templates, dashboards, scorecards and metrics.
  • Supports various administration duties (e.g. connection files to carriers, billing, integration of new acquisitions, ad hoc reporting, etc.)
  • Participates in various HR project work as assigned.
  • Acts as subject matter expert for HRIS System (ADP HRIS).
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Human Resources, Business, or Finance.
  • Highly analytical and precise disposition with attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze complex payroll issues and develop solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems (ADP preferred).
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain a professional, collaborative demeanor while performing duties, adhering to strict confidentiality.
  • HR Generalist/ Management experience a plus.
