The Human Resources, Associate Connect Tier Leader is responsible for supporting the overall Associate Connect strategy and ensuring the tier workforce is aligned with business goals and deliver an outstanding associate experience. This position requires strong people leadership capabilities, understanding of the retail industry, labor laws, and HR best practices. The Associate Connect Tier leader will actively shape and contribute to business outcomes serving as a people leader, trusted advisor, and credible source of insight on HR process, associate relations, talent, and culture.
Responsibilities Strategic Leadership- Lead and deliver strategic HR initiatives across Bath and Body Works that will elevate the brand vision and business growth goals.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the Associate Connect Tier 1, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness through high volume service delivery
- Lead, energize, be a visible HR leader, and take an active role in advancing the overall HR ecosystem through influence, partnership, and collaboration
- Drive the upskilling and re-skilling of team members on strategies and solutions including the relaunch of existing HR initiatives or the introduction of new concepts
- Recruit, lead and retain a team of outstanding HR professionals who will serve as the face of HR to functional teams across Bath and Body Works.
- Develop a human resources strategy that corresponds with the company’s goals to strengthen and sustain the company.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends within human resources and the industry by benchmarking and understanding micro/macro trends to implement standard methodologies and processes to consistently incorporate innovative and forward-thinking insights into our approach.
- Partner with Associate Connect leaders, COEs and HRBP teams to drive prioritization, integration, and alignment of overall BBW HR strategies
- Uphold Bath and Body Works values and standards of conduct by acting as a subject matter expert in and providing oversight for ky HR initiatives and inquiries from associates and people leaders.
- Draft well-written policies, plans and executive summaries with little supervision - guaranteeing adherence with company policies, local, state and federal laws.
- Lead development and implementation of case management system along with criteria for metrics and reporting.
- Deliver outstanding HR experience to associates using effective communication through face-to-face, by phone and through written channels.
- Lead organizational transformation initiatives through the leverage of change acceleration tools and processes, development of communication plans and the overseeing of organizational design and restructure initiatives Culture, Change & Engagement
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience as a people leader and partner in a Human Resources function, having driven people programs in a rapidly thriving company
- Experience working in a retail environment a plus, but not required
- Ability to lead through change and navigate the fast pace demands of a retail environment
- Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated ability to deescalate highly emotional situations
- Expert in leading associate relations, performance management and other people strategies.
- Knowledge and expertise in employment laws and regulation
- Ability to handle and lead high volume HR teams across multiple business units, buildings and geographic markets
- Proficient and up to date in current HR technology, systems and analytics
- Excellent strategic thinking and decision making skills
- Expertise providing executive coaching and counsel to senior leaders
- Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
