Safety Manager

Charles Taylor is seeking a Safety Manager in Milledgeville, GA.

1099 Contract position with per-diem.

Project details:

• 50 hours/week. (M-F). on-site 4/1
• 12-18 months
• Working on-site, overseeing commercial construction for a processing facility plant. Mass excavations mostly with some site work.
• BCSP certifications are preferred. OSHA-510 is required on-site.
• At least 5 years experience overseeing commercial construction work. Recent experience overseeing excavation work is preferred.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducting project safety inspections and orientations.
• Safety training as requested/required.
• Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices.
• Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management.
• Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
• Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors
