HR Business Partner

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. This hybrid role is based in Addison, TX and requires up to 10% regional travel. The position demands a professional with a strong background in employee relations, capable of fostering a positive workplace culture while addressing complex people-related challenges. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring compliance with labor laws and promoting an environment of respect, inclusivity, and productivity. Additionally, this position will align individual and team performance with business goals, ensure consistency across people management practices, and mitigate risk through effective leadership guidance and employee investigations. Previous experience in an operations-based workplace is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations:

  • Provide expert guidance and resolution for employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance management.

  • Conduct thorough and unbiased employee investigations and document findings appropriately.
  • Make actionable recommendations to managers on the best ways to manage employees while mitigating risk and fostering a fair workplace environment.
  • Performance Alignment:

  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure employee performance objectives are directly linked to business goals.

  • Support managers in fostering accountability and aligning performance reviews with organizational priorities.
  • Provide training and tools for leaders to enhance their effectiveness in performance management.
  • Consistency in People Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies to instill consistency in people management practices across departments.

  • Coach and guide managers on equitable and effective employee interactions to promote a consistent and positive work environment.
  • Policy Development and Compliance:

  • Interpret, develop, and implement HR policies that support organizational objectives.

  • Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular training for employees and management on employee relations topics and workplace compliance.
  • Strategic HR Partnering:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and align HR strategies to support organizational objectives.

  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Support organizational change and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Employee Engagement and Development:

  • Lead initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

  • Partner with leadership to address team dynamics and promote positive workplace relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience:

  • 5+ years of HR experience with a strong emphasis on employee relations.

  • Proven expertise in conducting employee investigations and providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Prior experience in an operations-based workplace is required.
  • Experience aligning performance with business goals is a plus.
  • Skills:

  • Expertise in employee relations, including conflict resolution and investigations.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with employees and leaders alike.
