HR Coordinator

The Human Resource Coordinator will provide generalist support to the Human Resource (HR) department. The position reports directly to the Chief People Officer and will assist with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Regulatory Compliance, Community Engagement, and Social Media Content Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with processing of payroll and reporting management tools
• Monitor LMS coursework requirements and compliance
• Assist with new hire onboarding and associated HRIS entries
• Update job descriptions accordingly with revised scope of responsibility
• Process job postings and revisions in the ATS in a timely manner
• Participate in career fairs and college visits
• Track background checks and pre-employment drug screens
• Maintain social media and develop ongoing content as directed (ie; Linkedin, Instagram, etc)
• Identify and assist with coordination of community service events
• Prepare monthly new hire orientation communications
• Ensure that employee personnel files are updated in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory compliance
• Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field required.

• 2-3 years of Human Resource experience in a mid to large organization (500+ employees)
• Knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law
• Automotive or related industry experience highly preferred
• Experience supporting multi-site locations
• 2+ years working knowledge with ADP Workforce Now payroll and HRIS.
• 2+ years experience with ATS (Keldair experience a plus).
• Experience with LMS.
• Social media experience with proven ability to develop engaging content
• Technically proficient - advanced excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
