Job duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Has ownership of the HR core processes that drive the initiatives of talent management, total rewards, performance management, and employee engagement and retention.
  • Partners with management to ensure compliance with corporate programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Has ownership of corporate onboarding and off boarding programs, which include delivery, logistics, content revisions and updates, and evaluation of programs.
  • Has ownership of employee engagement initiatives to include active participation in the Employee Committee and rewards and recognition programs.
  • Responsible for HR metrics, report creation and analysis, to include Workforce Planning, Turnover, Recruiting KPIs, Performance Management, etc.
  • Has ownership of all Human Resource administration to ensure HR data is accurate and compliant with local, state, and federal employment legislation.
  • Has ownership of performance management/appraisal program tools and processes including coaching, feedback sessions and developing performance improvement plans.
  • Partners with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, grow talent pipeline, and increase retention.
  • Partners with employees, including management, in a variety of areas including communications, performance management, practice/policy interpretation and application.
  • Timely and accurately responds and resolves employee relation issues.
  • Maintains needed knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Has ownership of the Learning Management System and processes. Facilitates various professional development topics/training.
  • Demonstrates understanding of ARGOs value chain CRP3 (Customer, Revenue, People, Process, Product) through actions and accomplishments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally - expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to others. Ability to occasionally sit or stand for extended periods of time.

WORK LOCATION

The candidate will work at our corporate headquarters in Richardson, TX.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, required
  • 6-+ years of experience in Human Resources to include but not limited to the following HR areas:
    • Employee Relations
    • Performance and compensation management
    • Talent Management (Acquisition, Retention, Satisfaction)
    • Employee Leave of Absence/FMLA
    • Immigration Laws
  • Proven experience using all Microsoft office products
  • Experience with HRIS (preferably ADP) and ATS, strong plus
  • Knowledge/experience with general employment laws, (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, LOA, ADA, Workers Comp), required
  • Working knowledge of employment law
  • Strong commitment to company values and operating principles
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prepare, analyze, report, and make recommendations on data, some of which may include headcount / turnover, compensation, performance management, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations situations.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • PHR Certification required
  • Hourly worker supervisory experience required
